There is a phenomenon in Cuba - "mañana". Literally translated as "tomorrow", but to designate a specific time on the calendar has nothing to do. Mañana is more a way of life and philosophy, if you want. It looks something like this:
- Is there no product in the store?
"And when will they?"
- Mañana !!!
And this does not mean that you need to come tomorrow and everything will be. The point is to remain happy and enjoy life, regardless of whether there is anything to cook dinner, how the day passed at work, and what other problems there were, which we can not objectively influence. You just need to exhale, relax, smile, pronounce the word "mañana" and take all the power to enjoy every second of life, from every ray of the sun, from the smile of every person on the street who, of course, has already pronounced the mañana mantra.
What does the Cuban salsa have to do with it?
I am absolutely convinced that the world in which each of us lives is a reflection of our way of thinking. Once I started practicing salsa in the hope of distracting from everyday affairs and problems and very soon realized that I was not just distracting, my life really became brighter and more interesting.
Later, I observed many times that people who lack self-confidence come to the first class in the hall. After a couple of weeks, metamorphosis begins: people "open up." At first they cease to be shy, with each lesson it becomes easier and easier for them to find a common language with other members of the group, and then generally with others. And this is only the beginning! People are transformed, they start to smile, bright things appear in their wardrobes. And these are only external changes. The main change is the acquired ability to relax, to enjoy life regardless of circumstances, and most importantly - to live in a hurry.
So, absolutely authoritatively I can say: Cuban salsa is the shortest way to comprehend the philosophy of mañana and, as a result, change of life for the better by will!
What for me is the Cuban salsa? First of all, it is a source of energy, it is a "rosette", in which I turn every day, that would fill up the reserve of positive, spiritual strength, the sun, which is so lacking in our latitudes. It's a way to share energy with others, multiply it. In addition, it is an amazing universal language of communication, allowing us to express what we do not always dare to say in words.
Of course, dancing is not always a carefree pastime. This is work. A lot of work. Work is physical, emotional, sometimes even spiritual. But in the end this work brings a result. Five hundred times you repeat some sort of bunch that does not work out, and for five hundred first time everything turned out - it's a great pleasure! It's almost magic! And today I'm happy that I can share this magic with others!
I hope that we will meet mañana on the lessons, and in this case we are not talking about the Cuban philosophy, but about a specific date on the calendar!
