Description
DC Cherry Blossom Kizomba Weekender (CBKW) is a one-of-a-kind event held during the cherry blossom season in the greater Washington DC area. It’s a unique celebration of spring, life, music, dance, African roots, authentic connections and international unity.
CBKW features 3 days of dance classes from international and USA-based instructors, daytime outdoor dances, 4 nights of evening dance parties, and a variety of social and cultural activities.
Primary dance and music genres represented at CBKW are Urban Kiz, Kizomba and Tarraxa. The weekender also features Partner Yoga and Authentic Connection playshops to provide tender loving care for your body and soul and to nurture deep interpersonal connections.
