The Event
Description
Dear friends!
UPD: We are impressed by your trust and enthusiasm. In a short time, we have received a huge number of registrations.
Due to the situation, we have to announce that the REGISTRATION for Riga Summer Tango Marathon 2021 is now CLOSED.
Of course, everything depends on the travel situation in Europe in the summer time. Therefore, you still can register for the WAITING LIST: https://argtango.eu/rigasummertangomarathon/ (Marathon pass = 85 EUR).
IMPORTANT! As in 2020, we accept your applications, but no payments will be accepted until we are sure that the government allows organizing events.
We once again are grateful to the Bellevue Park Hotel, which offered us the opportunity to have this Extra Edition.

So, if all the lockdowns are over, what can you expect to have at our marathon?
- 44 hours of dancing from July 22 to 26, 2021;
- gender-balanced event;
- super-cozy living and energetic dancing at the same venue - 4* Bellevue Park Hotel Riga: Slokas iela 1, Rīga, https://hotelbellevue.lv/;
- over 400 sq. m. hall with wooden dance floor cover;
- and, of course, same friendly and crazy organizers 🙃

BEFORE YOU FILL IN THE REGISTRATION, please note: Registration is possible only by registering on our web page (https://argtango.eu/). Clicking “I am going” on Facebook will not be considered as registration.
We kindly ask you - do not book the hotel and flights before you receive the final confirmation of participation. We kindly ask you to read TERMS AND CONDITIONS before you fill in the registration form: www.argtango.eu/termsconditions
At the marathon, we emphasize the traditional social tango etiquette, dance by following the ronda flow, invitations by mirada and cabeceo and clear floor during cortinas. This marathon is an event without separate seating for men and women. Our tango community understands and values the ‘consent culture’. This means that we act and dance respecting each other’s boundaries.
And of course, the pre-party and after-party will be open for both marathon participants and other dancers. Pre-party and after-party are not included in the full-pass.
As usual, we recommend you to stay in the Bellevue Park Hotel Riga (Slokas iela 1, Rīga, https://hotelbellevue.lv/); here you can enjoy the party in full – with the opportunity to live and to dance at the same venue. All the room prices will be published here later.
