2022 Mount Zoukfest

We are pleased to bring a memorable weekend of dance and community. The Mount Maunganui Surf Lifesavers Club is an iconic and exotic location. Situated at the base of Mount Maunganui (Mauao) literally on the beach. It is surrounded with motor camps, hotels and apartments. The hot pool next door is a great place to relax.

Mount Zoukfest is a perfect introduction for the novice dancer to connect with the wider Zouk and Samba de Gafieira community. For the experienced dancer it is a place to catch up with friends and dance.

We have assembled instructors from around New Zealand to bring to you a series of topics based on a central theme. Workshops are targeted toward beginner to intermediate. If you have never danced someone will be there to help you get started. You will have a great time.
