About our artists:

Diamond Lights of Kizomba:

Diamond Lights of Kizomba is a team consisting of dancers Elvira & Mamadou from Stockholm, Sweden. They teach Urban Kiz, Kizomba Fusion and Sensual Kizomba together, both locally and abroad. Elvira has a long background in salsa and bachata before starting with kizomba. Mamadou grew up in Mali and has been dancing since he was a kid. His dancing background includes most dancing styles (salsa, bachata, semba, afrohouse and more). Today they are both situated in Stockholm and work to share their great passion for kizomba/Urban kiz- focusing on musicality, good technique and connection.

Soulkizz

Nikita Chernyshov - leading kizomba instructor at dance studio “Salsa Club Kiev.” His dance career began with folk dances. In his youth he was fond of modern club dance and tektonik. He came to the world of Latin dance to diversify leisure but imbued with this culture and have made significant progress. Champion in Cuban Salsa, Timba Cubana and Rumba in 2014-2015.A real inspiration to the study of Kizomba for him was the workshops Albir Rojas, Kaem & Marine and Adeline & Laurent. Since then, Nikita was actively developing in this direction by attending workshops of Ukrainian and foreign trainers. Nikita continues to invent their own items to experiment with music and its kizomba interpretation, in contrast with other Dancers. He is welcoming instructor of urban kizomba & men style around the world.

Alena Sorokina - leading kizomba instructor at dance studio “Salsa Club Kiev.” Dancing from early childhood, first with classical ballet, then folk dancing, contemp, etc. In her student years, seriously interested in social Latin dances.

The winner of numerous national competitions in the category of Salsa, Timba and Salsa show in 2011-2016. Founder and ex-head of Studio Agua! Choreographer of dozen bright shows. Favourite dance style - afrocontemp. In 2014 she discovered the amazing world of Kizomba. She is one of well known teachers and Judges in Ukraine. Top-8 lady style category Olympiads of Kizomba 2019.Currently, Soulkizz project is 5 times champion of Ukraine in 2015-2017. The winner of the national qualifiers and finalist of the world championship Africadancar 2017. Top-7 urban category at Olympiads of Kizomba 2018 and winners Starkizz national championship 2019.

Now they are successfully raising a new generation of dancers as the leading leading kizomba instructors. Their students become bright stars of the Ukrainian Kizomba society.
