Jen & Alpha Swing into Edmonton 2019

Edson Dance Enthusiasts and West Coast Swing Addicts are very excited to be working together to bring the wonderfully talented Jen Malcolm and Alpha Vo to Edmonton Alberta for an all level two day workshop and a Friday and Saturday night dance!

Alpha was first exposed to WCS in 2010 via a dance club at his high school, meanwhile Jen was a brand new student in a beginner “funky swing” community series. A few months in, they fatefully signed up for the same class and met during the class rotation when Alpha awkwardly asked her to be his “dance partner” the first day they met. Since that day, they have grown together from Newcomers to All Stars, have placed top 2 in NASDE showcase, became US Open Champions in Rising Star, represented Canada multiple times at The US Open, and have enjoyed a fruitful international teaching and judging career together. Jen is also a classically trained musician, fitness hobbyist, and Zouk dancer, with an education in Physics, Math and Computer Science. Alpha is a bodybuilding enthusiast, online speaker and has an education in Business and Human Resources.
